The idea behind the F1K was to create a modern open wheel formula car designed to be affordable, yet have the driving characteristics which teach drivers of any background the ropes of current road course racing.

Yamaha R1 1.0L Digital Fuel Injection Motor producing 165hp and 110ft/lb torque at 12,000rpm. Yamaha ECU with Power Commander Control Unit.
Transmission
A six-speed sequential transaxle with limited-slip differential and reverse. Flatshift system that provides clutchless flat upshifts and auto-blip downshifts. Upgraded racing clutch.
Chassis
Powder-coated steel space frame with safety features that include proper roll bar and crash boxes.
12-liter foam filled fuel tank mounted behind driver.
Suspension
Front and Rear activated Mono Shock Pushrod Torsion bar suspension with anti-roll bars and Fully Adjustable Race Dampers.
Bodywork
Composite glass fiber bodywork. Raised Front and Rear wings and flatbottom paneled chassis.
Cockpit
Adjustable seat with custom molded seat being optional. Carbon plated control panel with quick release steering wheel and 6-Point quick release harness.
Instrumentation
AIM Mychron 3 Dash with GPS data capability, speed read out, LED shift lights, and Lap Timer.
Wheels
Lightweight, cast aluminum 7” ✕ 14” dia. front and 7” ✕ 14” dia. rear wheels are supplied as standard. Kumho Semi Slick Tires are standard as well.
Brakes
Four pot Wilwood monobloc calipers and 260mm dia. ✕ 25mm vented discs guarantee great braking performance.
Standard is a dashboard-mounted brake bias adjuster, which enables the brake balance to be adjusted to suit the track conditions.
